The Hawkeye III Lite Hand Receipt (this "Tool") is an independent personal project built and maintained by a single Non-Commissioned Officer in a private capacity. It is:
- Not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by the United States Army, the Department of Defense, the National Guard, or any government agency.
- Not an authorized system of record for property accountability, hand receipt reconciliation, inventory of record, or any official supply or logistics process.
- Not a substitute for GCSS-Army, the Property Book, or any authorized accountable property system of record (APSR).
- Not hosted on a .mil domain and not subject to DoD cybersecurity or accreditation standards (e.g., RMF, ATO, FedRAMP).
Use of this Tool is entirely voluntary and personal. Nothing produced by this Tool — including exported spreadsheets or DA Form 2062 printouts — constitutes an official property record until independently verified and reconciled against the authorized hand receipt and property book by the accountable officer, primary hand receipt holder, or supply chain.
The Tool is a personal aid for conducting a component / sub-hand-receipt inventory of the AN/TSC-274(V)1 (Hawkeye III Lite) SATCOM system. It presents the component listing with reference photos, lets the user mark each line present, short, or missing, record quantities, serial numbers, and notes, and generate a draft Excel worksheet or a printable DA Form 2062 for the user's own use.
All figures, counts, and generated documents are drafts only. The user is solely responsible for physically verifying every line and reconciling the results against the authorized hand receipt and property book before relying on them for any official purpose.
The Tool is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
The Tool runs entirely in the user's web browser. The operator does not warrant that it will be available, error-free, or that the component data, part numbers, NSNs, or reference photos it displays are current or accurate. The user's inventory entries are held only in the browser's local storage and may be lost if browser data is cleared, the device fails, or a different browser or device is used.
This Tool and the data entered into it are marked CUI // UNCLASSIFIED and must be handled in accordance with DODI 5200.48. Because all data is stored locally in the browser on the device where it is entered, the user is responsible for safeguarding that device and any exported files. Users must:
- Not enter classified information of any kind — this Tool is for UNCLASSIFIED / CUI use only.
- Use only trusted government or personal devices — never a shared, public, or kiosk computer — because entries persist in the browser's local storage until cleared.
- Use the "Clear this inventory" action (and clear browser data as needed) before releasing, turning in, or sharing a device.
- Protect serial numbers, NSNs, unit / UIC, personnel names, and any other CUI or PII contained in exported spreadsheets and DA 2062 printouts, and store or transmit those files only through approved channels.
- Follow OPSEC and their unit's policy for handling equipment density, location, and shortage information.
Mishandling CUI or PII through this Tool is at the user's own risk and may violate Army regulation. The operator disclaims all responsibility for consequences arising from such mishandling.
The Tool does not transmit inventory data to any server. Everything you enter stays in your browser on your device, and exports are generated locally.
To display and export correctly, the page loads two front-end resources into the browser from public content-delivery networks: a spreadsheet library (SheetJS) used to build Excel exports, and web fonts (Google Fonts). These providers deliver code and fonts to the browser and, like any web request, may log standard technical details such as IP address and browser type; they do not receive any of your inventory data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Tool, including but not limited to:
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated component data, NSNs, part numbers, or reference photos.
- Loss or corruption of inventory entries saved in the browser's local storage.
- Property accountability actions, financial liability, or FLIPL outcomes based on use of this Tool.
- Unauthorized access to a device on which inventory data or exports are stored.
- Disclosure of CUI or PII resulting from mishandling of exported files.
The user assumes all risk associated with use of the Tool.
Users remain fully responsible for complying with all applicable regulations, including AR 710-2 and AR 735-5 (supply policy and property accountability), AR 25-2 (Cybersecurity), AR 530-1 (Operations Security), and DODI 5200.48 (Controlled Unclassified Information), as well as any unit-level policies governing the use of external tools.
When in doubt, users should consult their supply sergeant, property book officer, or chain of command before using this Tool or handling its exports.
