Back to Load Card
Important — Read Before Use
This tool ("Iron Loadmaster") is a personal project. It is not an official U.S. Army, Department of Defense, or government system. It is a drafting aid for preparing a Vehicle Load Card (DA Form 7598); it does not certify, approve, or authorize any load or movement.
§01What This Tool Is Not
  • Not an authorized system of record for load planning, transportation, deployment, or movement documentation.
  • Not a substitute for the Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II), the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), or any authorized movement/load-planning system of record.
  • Not a certification of vehicle serviceability, load safety, center-of-balance, axle loading, or highway/rail/air/sea transportability.
  • Not hosted on a .mil domain and not subject to DoD cybersecurity or accreditation standards (e.g., RMF, ATO, FedRAMP).
§02Intended Use

The Tool is a personal aid for building a draft DA Form 7598 (Vehicle Load Card) for common platforms (M1097, M1101, and PU-series power units). It lets the user select a platform, record header data, list cargo with quantities and weights, diagram load positions in a cargo compartment view, and export a printable load card.

All pre-filled dimensions, empty weights, and rated-payload figures are nominal reference values only. The user is solely responsible for verifying every figure against the vehicle data plate, the applicable -10 operator technical manual, published transportability data (TB 55-46-1), and an actual scale weight before relying on the output.

All figures, counts, load diagrams, and generated documents are drafts only. Nothing produced by this Tool constitutes an approved load plan, movement authorization, or safety certification until independently verified and signed by the responsible loadmaster, convoy commander, and chain of command.

§03No Warranty

The Tool is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

The Tool runs entirely in the user's web browser. The operator does not warrant that it will be available, error-free, or that any platform dimensions, weights, LIN numbers, or reference data it displays are current or accurate. The user's entries are held only in the browser's local storage on the device where they are entered.

§04Information Handling & OPSEC

Load plans reveal equipment density, unit movement, and capability information. Users must treat this Tool and its exports as UNCLASSIFIED // FOUO at minimum and handle them under OPSEC and unit policy. Users must:

  • Not enter classified information of any kind — this Tool is for UNCLASSIFIED / CUI use only.
  • Use only trusted government or personal devices — never a shared, public, or kiosk computer — because entries persist in the browser's local storage until cleared.
  • Use the "Clear Vehicle" action (and clear browser data as needed) before releasing, turning in, or sharing a device.
  • Protect unit designators, UICs, bumper numbers, personnel names/grades, equipment quantities, and movement data contained in exported load cards, and store or transmit those files only through approved channels.
  • Follow OPSEC and their unit's policy for handling movement, density, and load information.

Mishandling controlled or sensitive information through this Tool is at the user's own risk and may violate Army regulation. The operator disclaims all responsibility for consequences arising from such mishandling.

§05Data Stays on Your Device

The Tool does not transmit load data to any server. Everything you enter stays in your browser on your device, and exports are generated locally by your browser's print function.

To display correctly, the page loads one category of front-end resource from a public content-delivery network: web fonts (Google Fonts). Like any web request, that provider may see standard request metadata (such as IP address and browser type). No load data, unit information, or personnel information is sent to that provider or to anyone else.

§06Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Tool, including but not limited to:

  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated platform data, dimensions, weights, or payload figures.
  • Overloaded, improperly balanced, or improperly secured vehicles.
  • Loss or corruption of entries saved in the browser's local storage.
  • Movement, safety, or accountability actions based on use of this Tool.
  • Disclosure of sensitive or controlled information resulting from mishandling of exported files.

The user assumes all risk associated with use of the Tool.

§07Regulatory Compliance

Users remain fully responsible for complying with all applicable regulations and technical guidance, including AR 56-9 (Motor Transportation), TB 55-46-1 (transportability standards), STP 10-92F15, AR 385-10 (Army Safety Program), AR 25-2 (Cybersecurity), AR 530-1 (Operations Security), and DODI 5200.48 (Controlled Unclassified Information), as well as any unit-level and installation movement policies.

When in doubt, users should consult their unit movement officer (UMO), transportation NCO, safety NCO, or chain of command before using this Tool or relying on its exports.

§08Changes & Contact

This disclaimer may be updated at any time without individual notice. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
